The name of the company was changed from SIMS CONSULT to SIMS TECHNOLOGIES, in 2011, to reflect its expansion, restructuring and new image as a technologies provider. As part of this change, the company has moved into a new and bigger premise with Offices and Shops to allow direct sales to the public. The range of Products and Services have also widened.

SIMS Technologies therefore does not provide mere software products, but real solutions for the information technology and management needs of businesses, Institutions and organisations.
Sims Technologies has its main offices located, within the Sims Technologies building (Asare House) at Bomso - Susianso, near Maxima Junction, and opposite the Goil Fuel Service Station in the city of Kumasi, Ghana. There are other representatives and agents in other cities in Ghana, including Accra and Tamale.
Sims Technologies has Eight qualified personnel who provide these products and services, with courtesy and professionalism, through the Administrative, Technical and Marketing sections of the company. The company is run by three Directors with Strong backgrounds in Business, ICT and MIS.
